Kacusa B. Bjedov was born in July 12, 1947 in Šibenik, Croatia and these days she lives and works in Split, Croatia.
She has graduated at ASSENZA ART ACADEMY in Basel. Her work is focused on constant expression of the unknown and discloses the power
of the intangible expressionism that conceals figurative motives which merge with the unity of expression. Her paintings are distinguished
by immense drifts of colour which are sometimes folowed by a firm line made without any restraint. She paints in several techniques: oil,
acrilic, chalk, crayon and water colour.
She finds her inspiration in her dreams as well as numerous journeys across Africa, South America, China, Siberia and the mountains of Tibet,
where she lived for a while with the buddist monks...But she also find her strenght on her home-islands Murter and Kornati, where she
spends her summers constantly creating her art.
